From the bridge to the boardroom.
For 14 years, I worked as an integrative wellness practitioner aboard private and charter yachts of every size. I learned the rhythm of a charter from the inside: how a purser tracks a hundred small details at once, how a chef adjusts a menu around an allergy nobody flagged until the second day, how a chief officer and captain handle a last-minute anchorage change or a shifted itinerary without missing a beat, how a guest's mood can turn on whether their preferences were remembered or forgotten. That experience is the reason AuraMar exists.
It's also only half of the story. Alongside my years at sea, I built a career in business intelligence engineering, working with the kind of structured data systems, security practices, and operational dashboards that most software companies take for granted, and that yachting has never really had. I hold a degree in Computer Software Technology, graduating Honors Cum Laude from the University of Arizona Global Campus.
"Built by someone who's actually lived both."
AuraMar sits at the intersection of those two backgrounds. I know what a ten-star guest experience actually feels like to deliver, and I know how to build the data structure underneath it so that it holds up, season after season, vessel after vessel. Most guest-experience tools in yachting were built by one side or the other; AuraMar is built by someone who's actually lived both.
Yacht onboarding is white-glove and by invitation only.
